On 18 January 2022, Shanghai High Victory Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. obtained the first registration certificate of 95% Metconazole TC under the new regulations by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of China.

Metconzaole is a new, broad-spectrum systemic fungicide. It has excellent protective and therapeutic properties, low toxicity to non-target organisms, low dosage and high fungicidal activity. It also meets the requirements of green control and has good environmental prospects. Field applications of Metconazole have shown excellent results against cereal crop phytophthora, streptomycetes and shank rusts.
